Margie Woods is an artist, photographer, teacher and avid sailor. She holds her M.A. in Clinical Psychology and has worked extensively, both in private and group settings helping women to find their unique voices and strengths through the creative practice. Margie holds her USCG Captain’s license (25 ton Master), is a sailing instructor and an enthusiastic shorthanded and singlehanded sailor. She was the only woman to compete in the 2016 Singlehanded Transpacific race from San Francisco to Hanalei, HI. Margie plans to participate in the SHTP again in the near future.
